In the past in China, Indonesia, or any other part of Asia that had a jungle, the toughest man was the head of the village. Every native was constantly trying to work his way up to the tenth degree black belt, or red sash. That was the top man. The ninth degree black belt could beat everybody but number ten, the red sash. The red sash had the most food, women, the most of everything. If a native wanted more for himself or his family, he would have to beat a higher ranked man. Then, he would have to defend himself and his family from the attacks of lower ranked men. Not only would he have to worry about the constant threat of attacking animals, but there was also the persistent worry about the men who wanted to beat him and take his position in the caste system. In addition to these dangers, other tribes would also want a native's dead body as a testament to their manhood.
This is the origin of this system. It was, and still is, completely attack-oriented.
Natives had to go through life like this for fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty years as normally as possible. They had to eat, sleep, go about their day, yet never be able to completely relax as we can today, because animals would attack at any time. If a native turned his back, another man could use the opportunity to try to enhance his position in the village.
How did they lead this type of existence and maintain their sanity?
It's obvious that these natives maintained a certain mindset at all times. It became natural to them, to be constantly alert, trained, and ready for an attack. They were ready as they cooked. They were ready as they slept. They were ready as they went about their normal daily lives, and they were always ready to fight to the death. There was no such thing as fairness. To be so deceptive and cunning as to surprise an opponent so that he would have no defense was very admirable. A man gained tremendous respect for his fighting ability. This is still true in most of these same places today. These fighters in the jungle had their own problems, yet they still had to be able to defend themselves. They wanted to be in a position of honor in their society. They wanted to be in the top three in their caste system.
In order to be a respected fighter, a man had to be able to fight fierce animals: tigers, lions, leopards, and so forth. The type of animal he could kill measured his worth. At some point in every man's training, he would have to go out, fight, and kill an animal. I have heard that Master Reeders killed a tiger with his bare hands-- no weapon except himself. Easterners have reconciled the importance of fighting in their lives in a different way than Americans or Europeans. It requires a different mindset and a different method of physical training. Who today would want to fight a man who could kill a tiger? How in the world would you train to do it? To most people this is a mystery. Masters who have accomplished this seemingly impossible feat do not talk about it to Westerners. This kind of training is what I know as Kun Tao. Most masters do not associate with those outside of their own people. Naturally when these Asian masters moved to America, they did not see the kind of animals they were used to protecting themselves against, so how could Westerners ever be able to understand the necessity and urgency of the training they went through? Who would want to train to fight a tiger or leopard if he really didn't have to? Why should any Asian master of this caliber even try to convince anyone to start on this path?
Most of this training is lost, or unavailable. To be able to train this way, a kun taoist must be able to prioritize his life much like the lives of those who lived in the jungle, having the realization that a life or death experience is always close at hand. He must have a vivid imagination and an exceptional inner vision. A kun taoist must have a certain amount of control over his life that is not in the normal scheme of human existence. Most people live a life much like an animal does; they do what they want to do, for the most part, when they want to do it. Most people consider this to be happiness. To live this way in the jungle would be asking for certain death. How did natives live the life that they did and become such great fighters? They could not have continued to exist without some kind of help from somewhere.
What did they do that you are not doing?
The answer is that they trained their minds and spirits (life force). The greatest fighters are aware that life force is constant and keeps all forms of life alive. Whatever keeps tigers alive, keeps us alive, and whatever keeps you alive, keeps me alive. Masters who have to fight animals know that if they can somehow affect an animal's (or human's) life force, they will be victorious. How do they affect the source of life? How do these masters work with it?
There are three aspects to the method in which these masters trained. Physical, mental, and spiritual. This essay focuses on the mental and spiritual phases, because without them, your physical training will be worthless. This system is designed to enhance the synergy between your mind and body so that you are able to move in a way that cannot be perceived by your enemies.
When I began to train my mind and spirit, I searched for an example of someone who not only had a measure of control over his life but was also strong beyond human comparison -- a standard to guide me-- a benchmark. I searched for a man who was a teacher, a man I could follow and understand, who had paranormal physical, mental, and spiritual results. A man who could teach me to have the same results and improve my life and the lives of my loved ones. I researched Hindu organizations, Yogi organizations, and various other foundations dedicated to mind/science research. I spoke with people who study theosophy, witchcraft; I spoke with spiritualists, fortune tellers, and healers. I traveled to various scientific laboratories dedicated to testing paranormal abilities. I read studies of Chi Kung from China. I was unsuccessful in finding anyone who could demonstrate any paranormal mental or spiritual ability. I also began to research the Bible, for Jesus Christ had documented paranormal results. I came across a passage in John 14:12-21, “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father and I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it.” In another passage, Jesus tells what you must do to have the paranormal results he had, “If you love me, you will obey what I command and I will ask the Father and he will give you another counselor to be with you forever, the spirit of truth...Whoever has my commandments and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by the Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”
The key to having that Supreme power work through you, the power that which can protect you and allow you some measure of control over your fate, is to know what Jesus' commandments are. If you don't know what they are, how can you obey? Knowing what to obey and having a way to obey these commandments while living a productive human life is the secret.
We talk about how to be Christ-like because that is how we were brought up. Where do you fall short in your life? What did this Jesus have control over? Which desires was he able to control that you aren't?
Sexual desire is very powerful and difficult for most humans to control. If sex replaces your God...how do you reconcile that? Number one in your life has to be your God, but your wife and family are supposed to be number one too. How are you able to keep the balance between the needs of your wife and family, and what you need to do to be Christ-like? If you have a good sexual relationship with someone, how do you reconcile which is more important? People who aren't in a relationship also have this problem. You can be living alone, but in your mind, you are re-living the past, or thinking ahead to the future when you will be with someone again. One can say “my God is most important”, but when faced with a situation, sexual or otherwise, where a choice between acting in a spiritual way, or giving into desire and temptation are the options, more often than not, temptation wins. The Lord wasn't stupid when he put a sexual spell on everybody. It is everywhere you look. But if you look at the fighters in the jungle, they had put sexual desire in perspective. They had to, because if sex took total precedence over their lives and they tried to exist without spiritual guidance, they knew that they would be caught in an uncompromising position and get killed. Here in an indulgent society where sexual appetites run rampant, you don't see where this lack of control can hurt you.
I am not saying that you have to be celibate. It is not wrong to have sexual desires, they just cannot control you. You have to take control of how you think and what you think about, when you are alone, and with other people. Some days it is easy. Other days it is very difficult. Some people's thoughts revolve around money and the desire for material wealth. Jesus said it would be easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than a rich man to go to Paradise. Rich in what? What does rich mean? What if you are rich in envy, greed, or jealousy? Some people are rich in greed, some are rich in desire. Does Jesus mean that poor people have a better chance than most others? I don't think so. Do you have to give up all of your money? I don't think so. It depends on what YOUR interpretation of what being rich is.
To be able to train in this system, you have to get down to the core of your belief system. Your core is that place deep inside of you that knows why you do what you do when you do it, and what your intentions are. You have to look at it all -- your TRUE drives and desires. What are you willing to sacrifice in your life? What areas in your life don't you touch? If you think about it, you really don't sacrifice anything consistently. If I said, “cut your desire for food in half”, you might be able to do that. If I said, “cut your desire for sex in half”, you might be able to do that. If I said, “pray every single day,” you might be able to do that too. But think about it. Soon you will become distracted by the demands of your everyday life, and all of this will seem to be too difficult. What do you do? How do you reconcile all of this? To have results, I had to look at my life and desires very carefully. I made some decisions and have worked at it for a long time. When you seriously work at this level, you'll have consistent growth and results. Every year since I have started on this path I've had more paranormal results. Well, how can you do this? Do you just wish for results and then you get them? No. It takes a lot of thought and action. I figured out that I had to work on problems that Jesus probably had to work on. Because the way he lived or tried to live resulted in his ability to do the things he did. Your success depends upon where you get your grace -- your blessing -- and your strength.
It depends on what's important to you and how much you want it.
You are definitely going to have to be a blessed person. There is no way you will be able to do this all by yourself. You have to modify and control everything you think, say, and do. You have to replace your desires with purity. How do you do this? One half or one quarter of the time, try to replace your thoughts with thoughts of the Lord. Read proverb 16 as interpreted in the meditation packet. It says that you should want to match your mind to the mind of the Lord; you want to match your purity with the purity of the Lord. Then you've got to ask yourself what the Lord would think of your thoughts, words, and actions. One of the ways I do this is to chant: thank you Lord God, thank you Mother Lord, thank you Mother Dear, I love you Lord God, I love you Mother Lord, I love you Mother Dear, help me Lord God, help me Mother Lord, help me Mother Dear. This helps me to purify my thoughts and intentions. You will have to work and pray on some of your problems, weaknesses, and desires every day, knowing in your heart that they will be solved. Every day is a new day. You have got to do the best that you can with what you have to work with every single day. You have to care. Be content in knowing that this daily battle will never end. LIFE is the battle.
If you don't start replacing these feelings inside of you and your actions with purity, you are not reconciling or readjusting your life. You have to train your mind and intentions, focusing on controlling any desires that control you. Above and beyond the most common urges for money, sex, and food, you have to control the ones that are specific to you. Maybe you like to fish, or rather, you HAVE to fish. In this instance, fishing becomes a desire you have to control; it cannot control you. You must work out physically, mentally, and spiritually. Controlling yourself is a full time job; it has to always be on your mind.
When I initially see a person who thinks he is going to train in this system, I already know what is going to happen. I know what he is going to have to do, how he is going to have to change, and how hard this process can be. I know that most of this beginner's friends are going to think he is turning into a nut case. You have to be very single-minded, very disciplined. The aforementioned passage spoken by Jesus IS the truth. Your mind has to remain very clear throughout the day, with very little inner dialogue. These thoughts should mainly pertain to the common simple things in life that are done with purity. Your work, your children, your family, for example.
There are not many people working ethereally. Do I think that you should take on this discipline? Do I think that you should take up this battle actively? I don't know, I really don't. Most people here in America, when confronted with a problem or challenge say, “I could be that good if I wanted to, but I'm not going to give this up. I'm not going to give that up. I'll give everything up but this. I'll keep control over everything but this.” So maybe you will settle for what you have now. If you don't want to be disciplined at this level, I would not blame you at all. But it is impossible for me to train you if you don't think this way. I know what it takes to train. I absolutely know. Some people work very hard at NOT knowing what to do. A purposeful avoidance of doing what is right is equally as bad as intentionally doing what is wrong. What is the difference between animals and humans? Humans can contact their God consciously, consistently, and have paranormal results. That is what it is all about, isn't it?
Anyone can die at any time; this is a reality that we must live with every day. You could go home today and find your family gone. Or what if you find out that a loved one has terminal cancer? What would you do? Pray like crazy, right? Maybe go to a church, see a minister or a priest... but why not do these things before that happens? Preventive medicine so to speak. This system is a way that gives you a chance when you normally do not have a chance to affect your fate and that of your loved ones. Try it now. Do it right away. It just might work. What do you have to lose? Nothing. Certainly, you will have to make sacrifices. You will have to alter the way that you think and act. This won't be easy. We are human. This is what life is about. Problems, drives, desires, and anguish. But if you could be able to modify the emergency that potentially awaits you or your family, wouldn't living this way be worth it? Be prepared ahead of time. This is what I do. I certainly know that it is worth it. If you carefully read the book that my wife and I wrote, it will start you on this path. It will train you to be a master.
You will need to convince me that you are serious, dedicated, and empathetic. Convince me that you will make a difference, consciously and consistently, to improve the quality of life of everyone you meet until the day you die. Try to help ease the anguish and pain of all other people. Protect not only your loved ones, but also all weak people in need and vow that you will give up your life if necessary. If you make this vow to the Lord and mean it, you will start to train in this system. That is the vow I made, and the vow I live by, and will always live by. The Lord knows this, which is why I have conscious, consistent paranormal results. I work for the corporation where the Lord is the CEO, and because of this, my family is safer and I have a chance to alter the fate which awaits us all. So isn't it worth the sacrifice?
To train this way you need three things: courage, quick wits, and a good heart. You will have to trust ME, as I will have to trust you. You will start in the morning and work continuously throughout the day, simultaneously as you're doing your regular work, living your regular, normal life. You can train to be a master. Or remain common. The choice is yours. Take a careful look around you. Is this the way you want to live? Is this the way you want to die?
